Corvette Plant Tour and Museum - Bowling Green KY 2 nights

Trip to Bowling Green KY to visit the Corvette Museum AND the Build Plant. Meet point is Hardee’s on I-75 N exit 277 – 1097 Hwy 92 Acworth GA. The build plant has been closed to the public for nearly one year. This is a joint trip with our sister LCU club. They have 20 people 10 cars going as of July 5.

Trip to Bowling Green KY to visit the Corvette Museum AND the Build Plant. Drive up Monday August 11. Do the plant and museum tours August 12. This would be a 2 night stay as it’s a 6 hour drive not counting stops and lunch. Return August 13.

You have to buy plant tour tickets online only for $50 per person (includes Museum entry). Tickets are NON Refundable but valid Museum members get a discount. Each tour time has limit of 15 people.

9:45 AM plant tour is fully booked. So a few selected the 10:15 AM tour. That time is now also booked so pick an earlier time. A few picked 9:15 AM and also now booked. So Pick 8:15

Change date to select August 12
Click Continue
Select the first option X in upper right corner of that box at top of the page for ‘Plant Tour and Museum admission’.
Click Continue
Edit admission people to 2 on both items if you and your significant other are attending, otherwise just select 1 attending on both entries.
Click Continue
Click on 8:15 AM for the plant tour time. first. 
Click Continue
If they have exceeded the 15 max people per plant tour and you get an error or message is tour is full – try the next time slot 30 minutes later etc.
Click Checkout and fill out your credit card payment info and email address etc.
You will get an email with your confirmation # etc.
PRINT IT OUT to bring with you to Bowling Green KY to get admitted to the plant tour and the museum.
I’m told you need to bring the paper print out with you!

I did some research on hotels. This is a nice hotel with large indoor pool. Breakfast Included. It’s a better rate at $15 per night less if you are a Windham Member so I recommend to join their points club to save you $30 on the 2 nights.

Also Vicky and I booked as a member the 2 nights with taxes and our AARP discount for $145 total. Otherwise it’s $160 total for members.

I’m working on restaurants for lunch on August 11, dinners on 11th and 12, lunch on 13 for those of us to caravan back together to Atlanta area.
